Thomas A. Kondzer is a founding partner in the law firm of Kondzer Law. He focuses his practice representing individual and businesses in the civil area, including the areas of estate and elder law planning, probate administration, business law, domestic relations, real property law, real property taxation, income taxation and in representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy and foreclosures.
Thomas received his Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University, graduating in the top 10% of his class. After graduation, he was awarded a two year judicial clerkship with the late Honorable John V. Corrigan of the Ohio Court of Appeals. Upon completing the clerkship, Thomas entered private law practice where he has provided quality legal representation for over 35 years to individuals, small and medium size businesses and school districts. He has represented clients in a variety of transactional and litigation matters and has appeared on behalf of clients before the Ohio Supreme Court, multiple Ohio courts of appeals and trial courts, Ohio administrative tribunals, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, and various Federal Courts.
Thomas is a lifetime Clevelander. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Cleveland. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, cum laude with a major in accounting from John Carroll University. After graduation, Thomas passed the Ohio Certified Public Accountant exam on his first attempt. Thomas studied law at Case Western Reserve University where he received his Juris Doctorate degree and was admitted into the Order of the Coif. Thomas currently lives in Westlake, Ohio with his wife, Maureen.
